Children with Cancer
A group of local and ex-pat women in Cairo regularly visited the children with various forms of cancer in hospital.
Hospitals in Egypt were extremely under-resourced and had no way of continuing the children's education.
The Khuti Foundation provided books and pencils to be used on the visits to help with basic reading and writing skills.
Without basic reading and writing there is little chance of employment or the likelihood of further education.
